David, this interview was useful and interesting. We hear so much about social media tactics, but It's always helpful to see how organizations and individuals actually are implementing a social media strategy.

I think there are lots of companies and organizations waking up to the right way of using Twitter (engagement and community). I think it's celebrities that need the refresher course. It pains me to see celebrities with over a million followers and following just five people. You kidding me? Do us all a favor and stick to the Hollywood Hills. It's a shame more people don't call them out on it. Then again, we're too busy reading People magazine, aren't we.

Great interview with Jeramie and how the Suns are utilizing social media. They've kind of been the pioneers in the NBA in utilizing SM, Twitter and the like with their team and organization. As an avid NBA basketball fan and social media head, it's great to see when teams like the Orlando Magic and a few others have followed suit on the path that the Suns have paved in the social media space, but yet - adoption is slow moving, especially in comparison to what the Suns have been doing. So, a couple questions for Jeramie:

Every industry has their own dynamic, as does the professional sports arena. Given that, how can NBA teams become better educated in the digital space and learning how it can work for them?

Second, do you feel that teams are open to adopting social media and integrating it within their organization? If so, where do they get started - and also, where do people with the same passion for the NBA and social media get in front of these organizations?

Thanks!
